Networks

I believe that joining communities of practice is highly significant for one’s personal professional development, but also for the enhancement of the profession overall. I often volunteer for several associations, networks, and initiatives that I share their missions, objectives, and values. Here are some of the networks and initiatives I care most about and with which I often volunteer:

Founded in January 2013, PEA is the national network for practitioners and professionals working in project, program, and policy evaluation in Palestine.


The Middle East and North Africa Evaluation Network (EvalMENA) is the Regional Voluntary Organization for Professional Evaluation (VOPE) of the MENA region.


A global, multi-stakeholder partnership to promote young and emerging evaluators to become future leaders in the evaluation profession

EvalPartners is an innovative partnership to enhance the capacities of the civil society to influence policymakers, public opinion, and other key stakeholders so that public policies are based on evidence and incorporate considerations of equity and effectiveness.


IOCE the international network of national and regional evaluation associations and strives to strengthen international evaluation through the exchange of evaluation methods, theories and practice and promotes good governance and recognition of the value evaluation has in improving peoples’ lives.


The Decade of EVALUATION for action, also known as the Eval4Action Campaign is a global campaign that seeks to promote widespread recognition of evaluation as a critical driver and accelerator for achieving the SDGs by 2030, and to mobilize commitments to invest in stronger and more globally coordinated evaluation systems, capacities, practice, and usage.


The International Evaluation Academy (IEAc) is a virtual network of volunteers (Fellows) dedicated to evaluation transformation, creativity, innovation, and excellence, the Academy recognizes that transdisciplinary, value-driven evaluation has a key role to play in the promotion of social justice and sustainable development.
